The meeting was attended by Engineer Reza Al-Shafii, the Engineer, the Engineer, Mr. Mustafa Abu Zayd, the Engineer and the Chairman of the Senior Advisory Committee.
The meeting witnessed an extensive dialogue on the realities, challenges and future of the Egyptian advisory offices, where Dr. Mohamed Abdel Gani emphasized that these offices represented " the Cape of War " and an important introduction to support the national industry and opening up world markets for both enterprises, equipment and construction materials, bringing in a difficult currency for the Egyptian economy, while warning of serious challenges facing these offices that led to the closure of some.
Discussions highlighted the phenomenon of back-offices operating in Egypt, most of which were not bound by regulated laws, or tax reimbursement to the State. Many of them were without a commercial record, no tax card, no taxpayer on the salaries of their employees, no value added taxes, as did Egyptian offices, which represented unfair competition between Egyptian and background offices, and were not available to Egyptian employees.
Discussions revealed that the list of challenges facing Egyptian advisory offices also included weak fees and delays in the payment of receivables by many.
During the meeting, the engineer captain reviewed the features of the new trade regulation prepared by the trade union, which for the first time contained a professional classification beginning with the practitioner, and then the specialist, accessing the consultant, with precise fee controls, calling on the Assembly delegation to show their technical vision.
While the Shafe ' s Engineer had indicated that there were ongoing movements to amend legislation so as to require foreign offices to partner with national offices as a condition for operating within Egypt.
During the meeting, Dr. Mustafa Abu Zeid proposed to hold several symposia and round tables and it was agreed that a joint colloquium would be organized between the Union and the Assembly on the role of advisory offices in supporting Egyptian industry and increasing Egyptian exports, and to make recommendations and submit them to the relevant bodies.
