
In a dramatic incident, the Nasr City prosecutor has put a couple on trial for running an unlicensed educational entity, highlighting the significant risks posed by fraud in education and employment.
Details of the incident are due to information that the defendants, through Fake Pages On social media, they were promoting courses that offered false promises of employment in prestigious companies. Indeed, the investigation showed that the entity they had established had no legal authorization.
In coordination with the security services of the Cairo Security Directorate, the place that the couple ran was targeted, as they were caught promoting that fake educational program. They are in possession of a series of fake contracts and books of agreements with students, in addition to certificates and fraud with the names of the entity, financial receipts and illegal carnets.
Profiting by exploiting people’s needs
During the investigation, the couple admitted that the goal of their activity was to make a profit by exploiting the needs of people seeking to improve their skills or find work, which infringed on sound educational and professional values.
