The American embassy celebrated the conclusion of the two-year programme of scholarships for English-language learning (Access), during a graduation ceremony of 304 Egyptian students from Cairo, Geez, Alexandria, Kafr Sheikh, Suways, Aswan, Kna, Nieh Hamadi and Vium.
He participated in the graduation ceremony of the Deputy Head of Mission, Robin Hartunyan, who stressed the importance of learning English, saying: «English is a key to a brighter future, opens new prospects for Egyptian students, distinguishes them and gives them the opportunity to realize their full potential.»He also referred to the role of English in enabling Egyptian entrepreneurs and workers to benefit from opportunities for cooperation with American partners, thus promoting prosperity in both countries.
In partnership with Amideste institutions, the American University of Cairo, the Egyptian Society of Educational Sources, the University of Nile and the Um Habibah Foundation, the American Embassy supports programmes aimed at providing Egyptian students with English-language skills, leadership and critical thinking for success.

In addition to student programmes, the Embassy has trained over 750 English language teachers from various governorates of the Republic, as part of its efforts to enhance the quality of education and support the sustainable professional development of teachers, thus contributing to the improvement of the English language education system at the republic level.
The American embassy recently launched the " English language for professionalism and literacy in artificial intelligence " programme (ECRAIL), which aims to rehabilitate future leaders in the areas of technology and public policy, by providing them with professional English skills, personal skills and an apprenticeship with artificial intelligence, and 240 Egyptian participants from Cairo, Alexandria and the staff of the intensive training programme have begun.
This year, the Embassy also plans to launch the " Understanding Scientific Research and Academic Literacy " programme (URAW), which aims to enable 83 Egyptian researchers and academics to publish their research in English-speaking international scientific journals, thereby enhancing academic and scientific cooperation between Egypt and the United States in various disciplines.
