Ahmed Al-Wakil, President of the Federation of Egyptian and Turkish Chambers of Commerce, said that the activities of the meeting of the Egyptian and Turkish Chambers of Commerce came within the framework of the directives of His Excellency President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi, aimed at deepening regional economic partnerships, enhancing the role of the private sector in supporting sustainable development, and turning the political momentum into effective economic cooperation that serves the interests of people, pointing out that work is currently underway to prepare for the three continents business summit in Egypt in April 2026, to be an international platform to connect business communities and promote joint investments.

He added that work is now underway to achieve the directives of President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi to reach the volume of trade exchange to $ 15 billion and double Turkish investments in Egypt, especially as joint manufacturing between Egypt and Turkey enhances added value and raises the competitiveness of exports in regional and international markets.

He stressed that the signing of memorandums of understanding between the Egyptian and Turkish Chambers represents a real transition from agreements to effective economic partnerships on the ground, stressing that the chambers of commerce are the main link to transform the political consensus into tangible economic results.

The meeting of the Egyptian and Turkish Chambers of Commerce under the title "Together for Joint Industrialization and Triangular Cooperation" kicked off yesterday in the new city of El Alamein, with the participation of the President of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Patches of Turkey and the President of the Federation of International Chambers of Commerce Rafat Hasaroglu and more than 250 heads of Turkish Chambers of Commerce, Industrial Chambers and Commodity Exchanges, and heads of Egyptian Chambers of Commerce.
