NBE’s syndicated loans ended in 2025 with outstanding results, according to the Bloomberg Global Rating of the syndicated loans list, which showed that NBE ranked first as the best bank in the Egyptian banking market for its role as a finance agent, principal arranger, finance marketer and document bank.
The results also showed that the National Bank of Egypt achieved first place as a document bank, third place as a financing agent and principal arranger and marketer of finance at the level of the continent of Africa. Outstanding Achievements
Commenting on these outstanding achievements, NBE CEO Mohamed El-Etriby said that the results of the evaluation are considered as a certificate from an international institution with great weight and credibility at the international level for NBE’s leadership in the field of syndicated loans in Egypt, Africa and the Middle East region.
He pointed out that this success is a reflection of the bank's continuous keenness to provide the necessary financing needs for major projects that contribute to creating added value to the economy and advancing development, and supporting the state's plans to promote various economic sectors such as transport, health and education, communications and information technology, petrochemicals, non-bank financial services, environmental services that include waste management and recycling, real estate development, building materials, food industries, agriculture and tourism, which contribute positively to supporting the sustainable economic development of the country and providing more jobs.
Major challenges
He pointed out that this success comes despite the great challenges witnessed by Egypt and the world during recent periods and its consequences on the Egyptian economy and the world.
ومن جانبها أعربت سهى التركي نائب الرئيس التنفيذي للبنك الأهلي المصري عن اعتزازها باستمرار البنك في تحقيق تلك المكانة المميزة في أحد القطاعات الحيوية بالبنك، مؤكدة على أن البنك يولي صفقات القروض المشتركة عناية فائقة، مستنداً في ذلك إلى شبكة العلاقات القوية والمتنامية التي تربط البنك بالبنوك المحلية ومؤسسات التمويل الإقليمية والدولية التي تتوافر لديها الثقة في قدرة البنك الأهلي المصري على إتمام وإدارة الصفقات الكبرى بمهنية وحرفية عالية بالإضافة إلى قاعدة رأسمالية ضخمة تسمح للبنك بتوفير مختلف أنواع التمويلات اللازمة لتمويل المشروعات الكبرى والتي تتماشى مع احتياجات العملاء المختلفة وطبيعة النشاط الاقتصادي لكل مشروع.
وأشارت التركي إلى أن تلك النتائج تعد بمثابة حافز للعاملين على بذل المزيد من الجهد للحفاظ على تلك المكانة، وأن يكون البنك الأهلي المصري الاختيار الأول لعملاء القروض المشتركة من المستثمرين المحليين والأجانب بما في ذلك شركات القطاع الخاص بما يدعم مكانة البنك الرائدة باعتباره أكبر البنوك العاملة في مصر.
وصرح شريف رياض رئيس الائتمان المصرفي للشركات والقروض المشتركة التنفيذي بالبنك الأهلي المصري أن هذا النجاح يدل على احترافية البنك وقدرته على ترتيب وإدارة القروض المشتركة في مختلف القطاعات والقدرة على تحقيق التعاون المثمر بين كافة البنوك العاملة في مصر وصلابة القطاع المصرفي، وقدرة البنك على ترتيب وإدارة القروض المشتركة في مختلف القطاعات الاقتصادية، وتوفير السيولة النقدية لمختلف القطاعات الاقتصادية كما يعكس الجهود المبذولة من جانب المختصين وفرق العمل بالبنك التي نجحت في إبرام 33 صفقة في عدة قطاعات اقتصادية وذلك من خلال حلول تمويلية مختلفة ومتكاملة، بما في ذلك 23 صفقة كان فيها البنك الأهلي المصري وكيلا للتمويل وهو ما يمثل 11.64% من إجمالي صفقات القروض المشتركة في قارة افريقيا خلال عام 2025.
وأضاف أحمد السرسي رئيس مجموعة تمويل القروض المشتركة بالبنك الأهلي المصري أن نجاح البنك في إبرام عدد كبير من الصفقات التمويلية بمختلف القطاعات يعكس فاعلية القروض المشتركة وقدرتها على تلبية الاحتياجات التمويلية المختلفة للعملاء من خلال الدراسة الدقيقة لتلك الاحتياجات واعداد الإطار التمويلي الأنسب وفقا وطبيعة كل مشروع، بالإضافة الى قيام البنك بدور المستشار المالي في عدة مشاريع استراتيجية والمساهمة في ترتيب إصدارات سندات التوريق والصكوك لصالح العديد من العملاء.
