Samia al - Faqi

The first day of the opening of the run for election to the Egyptian Engineers ' Union saw a strong involvement of engineers wishing to compete for various trade union positions at the headquarters of the General Engineers ' Union.

Applications for nominations have been attended by large numbers of candidates since the first hours of opening the candidature, in the midst of organizational preparations by the High Electoral Commission to facilitate procedures and ensure the smooth running of work.
Professor Dr. Engineer confirmed a student retreat - Chairman of the Supreme Committee
For the elections, the Commission is keen to overcome any obstacles facing candidates,

Furthermore, the Committee has all its members simulated a number of registrations with administrative staff receiving requests to ensure that the registration process is conducted without any obstacles and how candidates are directed to complete any outstanding data.
Dr. Mohamed Abbas Sultan, Under-Secretary of the Committee, addressed the candidates, concluding that trade union work required a real effort and time, not just a name on an electoral paper or a title added to a self-container, stressing that the seat was a secretariat and accountable to God and the pool of engineers waiting for successful candidates for change and active service.

In turn, the Advisory Engineer, Mr. Hassan, assured the Rapporteur of the Commission that the members of the Commission would be careful to ensure the validity and integrity of the candidate ' s papers without considering the names and titles, and to provide the required facilitators, in order to ensure transparency and integrity in the electoral process.
Engineer Hassan explained that the Commission had been keen to be present early in the morning to ascertain the willingness of the union to receive candidates and to begin registering their applications at 10 a.m. in accordance with the law, noting that a meeting had been held through the Zoom application with all the chairmen of the subcommissions to ascertain their readiness and to ensure that the engineers were received as they were.

The High Electoral Commission has sought to check the place of receipt of applications for nominations to ensure that all necessary organizational measures are taken to ensure the proper conduct of the nomination process and to alert administrative personnel in full cooperation with applicants.
