يأتي ذلك من خلال طرحين، تبلغ قيمة الطرح الأول 50 مليار جنيه، لأجل 182 يومًا، فيما تبلغ قيمة الطرح الثاني 55 مليار جنيه، لأجل 364 يومًا.

وكانت لجنة السياسة النقديـة للبنك المركــزي المصـري قررت في اجتماعهـا الأخير خفض سعري عائد الإيداع والإقراض لليلة واحدة وسعر العملية الرئيسية للبنك المركزي بواقع 100 نقطة أساس إلى 20.00% و21.00% و20.50%، على الترتيب. كما قررت خفض سعر الائتمان والخصم بواقع 100 نقطة أساس ليصل إلى 20.50%.
The Ministry of Finance authorizes the Central Bank, throughout the fiscal year, to manage its own treasury bills and bonds in pounds, to finance and spend the proceeds on the items of the state budget for the current fiscal year.
