
The index of the banking sector listed on the Egyptian Stock Exchange began trading on Sunday at an increase of 0.01% to reach the level of 2884 points so far.
The banking sector in the stock exchange witnessed trading of 11.7 million pounds during the morning, with the sector accounting for 2.59% of the total value of the stock exchange so far.
This came after the sector witnessed the circulation of about 465,000 shares, accounting for 0.36% of the total number of shares traded on the exchange so far.
EGX indexes rose at the beginning of the trading session on Sunday, with the main index EGX30 up 0.03% to 35,633 points.
The EGX70 rose 0.59% to 10731, while the EGX100 rose 0.5% to 14,353.
