The Bar Association, headed by Abdel Halim Allam, President of the Arab Lawyers Union, issued an important statement on the holding of the General Assembly to increase pensions, on Saturday, 6/12/2025 at the headquarters of the General Union 49 / A Ramses Street Cairo, and the text of the statement is as follows:

Within the framework of the General Union Council to hold the Ordinary General Assembly of the Lawyers of Egypt to vote on the increase of pensions and the development of financial resources to meet the obligations and requirements of increasing pensions in the light of the report of the actuarial experts and to face the burdens of the treatment project and increase the efficiency of social and union services.
However, we were surprised by the unexpected recent attempts by some to disrupt these legitimate entitlements and their weak will and destructive forces to establish a number of appeals to stop the convening of the General Assembly scheduled for Saturday, 6/12/2025.
They thought that by doing so, they would obtain provisions to suspend the implementation of the decision to call the General Assembly to convene, as happened before when the suspension of the Pensions Increase Association was challenged on 5/12/2023 and the appeal against the suspension of the Association to oppose the increase in fees on 21/6/2025, but the will of God and the victory of the legitimacy of the validity of the decision of the General Syndicate of Lawyers, and the integrity of the procedures for calling for the convening that assembly, so ruled in all appeals to reject the requests of the suspension of execution.
These appeals were as follows:-
(1) Appeal No. 11703 for the year 80 B.C. filed by Mr. / Faie Desouky requesting the suspension of the decision to call the General Assembly to convene and decided in the session of 30/11/2025 to reject the request for suspension of execution.
However, the same appellant was quick to lodge an appeal against this ruling, which did not dry its inks before the Supreme Administrative Court and was registered with number 6577 for the year 72 BC.
The court decided to refer the appeal to the Commission of State Commissioners and this appellant had obtained a ruling from the Court of Administrative Justice to stop calling the General Assembly, which was scheduled to convene on 21/6/2025 in opposition to the increase in judicial fees.
(2) وإستمرارا لمحاولات تعطيل إنعقاد الجمعية العمومية أقام السيد/ حسام داغر الطعن رقم 16253 لسنة 80 ق أمام محكمة القضاء الإداري بمجلس الدولة في الرحاب وتحدد لنظره جلسة اليوم 3/12/2025 طالبا بوقف قرار دعوة الجمعية العمومية للانعقاد وقضي فيها برفض طلب وقف التنفيذ مع إلزام رافعها بالمصروفات ومقابل أتعاب المحاماة .
ونسي وتناسى من أقام تلك الدعوى أن نقابة المحامين نقيبا وأعضاءا لا تسعى إلى لدد في خصومة وأن قرار إسقاط قيده صادف صحيح القانون لصدور حكم في الجناية رقم 7242 لسنة 2002 جنايات المعادي المقيدة برقم 423 لسنة2002 كلي جنوب القاهرة جناية تزوير محرر رسمي وقد تأيد قرار إسقاط قيده بحكم محكمة القضاء الإداري والمحكمة الإدارية العليا إبان فترة تولي الفقيه المرحوم / رجائي عطية نقيب المحامين وقد تحمل مجلس النقابة العامة للمحامين نقيبا واعضاءا كثيرا من الإدعاءات والتجاوزات والإفتراءات خلال الفترة الماضية على النحو الذي حملت جزءا منه عرائض تلك الدعاوي .
إلا أننا تصدينا لتلك التداعيات والإفتراءات على حقوق الجمعية العمومية في المشاركة وإبداء الرأي حال كونها السلطة العليا لإدارة شئون نقابة المحامين .
وفي ظل تأييد البعض من أعضاء مجلس النقابة العامة ضد رغبة الجمعية العمومية في معاش مستحق يكفل لها حدا من الكرامة في مواجهة اعباء الحياة .
ويهيب مجلس النقابة بالسادة المحامين في الحضور والمشاركة الإيجابية يوم السبت الموافق 6 / 12 / 2025 الساعة التاسعة صباحا وما بعدها بمقر النقابة العامة للمحامين 49 / أ شارع رمسيس القاهرة
عاشت نقابة المحامين حرة مستقلة.
