Under the patronage of Dr. Amr Talaat, Minister of Communications and Information Technology, Eng. Tarek Nabrawi, President of Engineers Egypt, opened the workshop entitled:
"Generative AI for Engineers", set up by the Center for Technological Innovation "Cretiva".
This workshop comes within the framework of continuous cooperation between the Egyptian Engineers Syndicate and the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, under the supervision of Eng. Ghada Labib, Deputy Minister of Communications and Information Technology for Institutional Development, and in the presence of Eng. Ahmed Mehran, member of the Council of the Engineers Syndicate in Cairo and Chairman of the Communications Committee of the Cairo Syndicate, Eng. Amr Nabil, Deputy of the Committee, and Mr. Mahmoud Kandil, Director of Projects in Institutional Development at the Ministry.

During his speech, Eng. Tariq Al Nabrawy expressed his happiness with the launch of this fruitful cooperation, stressing that the union gives engineering training a top priority within its strategic plan, especially in light of the rapid developments in the field of artificial intelligence.
"Today we launch the first activities of cooperation with the Ministry of Communications, within the framework of the keenness of the union to prepare a generation of engineers capable of keeping pace with the technological revolution," he said, stressing that training is the real way to open new job opportunities for young engineers and improve their competitiveness.
He pointed to the recent success of the union in sending a delegation of the first engineers to train in the People's Republic of China in cooperation with the Chinese Association for Science and Technology, in the framework of supporting the exchange of experiences and access to the latest global technology, which enhances the position of the Egyptian engineer scientifically and practically.
It is worth mentioning that the workshop topics dealt with several topics, most notably:
• Introduction to Generative Artificial Intelligence.
• Introduction to Command Engineering
• Generative Artificial Intelligence Applications.
• Ethical considerations associated with the use of technology.
